Introducing
Corinne Melanie unveils Time & Tide, a new collection shaped by the Australian coastline and the changing seasons of life.
Inspired by places stretching along the Australian coast, the collection draws from sun-warmed landscapes, shifting light and the colours that remain with you long after leaving a place. But beneath the coastal references is something more personal - an exploration of time, change, and the different seasons we move through.
“Some seasons of life seem to ask everything of us. Others give us space to breathe, look around and realise how much has changed. I kept coming back to the coastline while creating this collection - the tides moving in and out, landscapes constantly changing while somehow remaining familiar. Time & Tide grew from that idea. That nothing stays exactly as it is, and perhaps it isn’t meant to.”
Through layered colour, organic movement and abstract interpretations of the Australian landscape, Time & Tide is an exploration of the places that ground us, the seasons that change us, and everything we carry between.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Time & Tide brings together a considered palette of ocean blues, earthy greens, warm sand, sun-washed neutrals and deeper, mineral-rich tones. Flowing linework moves through layered abstract forms, echoing the natural patterns of shifting tides, weathered coastlines and landscapes shaped by time.
The collection explores the relationship between structure and movement, with organic shapes, intricate details and contrasting tones creating a sense of depth.
“I've always been fascinated by the way certain places stay with us. How a colour, a texture or a familiar stretch of coastline can bring back an entire chapter of our lives. I wanted these pieces to capture that feeling, to bring a little of those places into our everyday surroundings.”
An exploration of the places that ground us, the seasons that change us, and everything we carry between.
Inspired by the relaxed sophistication of modern coastal and Mediterranean interiors, Time & Tide brings together organic forms, layered colour and considered compositions designed to complement a wide range of living spaces, from contemporary architectural homes to warm, character-filled interiors.
From earthy palettes that sit naturally alongside timber, stone and textured finishes, to ocean-inspired blues and greens that introduce depth and contrast, the collection offers a contemporary interpretation of coastal living. Flowing linework and abstract forms create movement, while the balance of colour and negative space allows each artwork to find its place within a room.
At its heart, Time & Tide is about creating a home that feels as good to live in as it looks. Whether it's an expansive, light-filled space or a more intimate, lived-in home, the collection brings a sense of warmth, connection to nature and the relaxed atmosphere we associate with being near the coast.
A little of that feeling you get when you're away, brought into the place you call home.
