It’s been seven years since my last full cloud collection, 'Inrepide' — and the next chapter is finally taking shape. This time, the skies look different.
There’s a particular kind of magic in circling back to something you thought you’d left behind. It’s like finding an old photograph in a drawer—familiar, yet different now that time has softened the edges. That’s how it feels to return to my cloud paintings after so many years.
For a long time, they belonged to another chapter of my life—one I loved, but had quietly closed as new work and new ideas took their place. And yet, here I am again, standing in front of skies that stretch wide and endless, discovering them as if for the first time. The shapes are still soft, the light still shifting, but my eyes are different now. My hands carry years of other colours, other textures, other lessons learned.
It’s both familiar and exhilarating—like stepping into a conversation you began long ago, and realising you still have more to say.
The palette is grounded yet generous: deep chocolate browns, earthy rust, shadowy greens, and creamy neutrals. Together they create a colour story that feels warm to the touch, layered with richness but never heavy.
It’s a palette that speaks to 2025 interiors — warm and tactile, with an effortless, elevated feel. The clouds themselves will be expansive yet intimate, holding both the drama of a storm and the stillness that follows.
More soon. For now, consider this your first glimpse of what’s gathering on the horizon.
