As the move-in date of our new beachside retreat moves ever closer, I find myself spending an increasing amount of time on Pinterest, gathering inspiration for our upcoming renovations!
This week, I'm captivated by dark walls and the sense of calm they bring to an interior space.
Often, you'll see that a key feature of my artwork's photography is to use a backdrop of a dark wall within the interior design. There is a key reason why; not only do dark walls complement the calming nature of my cloud pieces, but they absolutely make artwork pop. Art looks incredible on dark walls.
Below I share my interior inspo finds! Which one's your favourite?

There's something about moving house. A time where you rifle through old belongings, sorting, boxing, organising; a time where you let go of the old and open your mind to the new.
I, like many others, take the time to throw away things that I no longer need. It's unsettling at first, like any change that life gives us.
I'm very excited to share with you all a new and updated website that coincides perfectly with the release of my new "Bounty" collection. (Psst... if you haven't seen it already, please be sure to check them out here!)
The really great thing about this new website is that it signifies a big, bold and beautiful change in direction for me - just like the bright, tropical hues in the latest collection of works. I'm busy working on more paintings, both signature cloud paintings and modern abstract pieces, and what you can expect is rich, contrasting colour and tone, modern designs - and artwork that simply makes walls look just slightly better than they were before (when they were bare)!
